On June 25th, 2007, an Alabama woman was seriously injured when she was involved in an vehicle accident with a van. The woman, Nadine Dalati, was struck on the door of her vehicle by the van which was operated by a church group from Maryland. An accident caused by a white SUV occurred yesterday on I-12 by Covington, La., leaving one dead and two seriously injured. The white SUV left the scene after causing the accident, and police are still looking for the vehicle. Read more from NOLA.com.

A man was trying to hitch a ride on Louisiana 23 near Windmill Lane when he was hit by a car and killed. His identity has not been released but the victim was from the Ukraine. The accident occured in Plaquemines Parish. The pedestrian died at the scene from his injuries. Two men were killed early Saturday morning in Covington when the driver lost control of his sports car and crashed into a tree along Jahncke Avenue.
